My farmer has been stuck pregnant and has not given birth. I suspect it had to do with some issues with my mods. For reference, I was using free love (married to sebastian after installing mod, first marriage was with my friend on multiplayer so another farmhand), maggs sebastian romance, visual pregnancy, a pregnancy event mod, and then the adjust baby chance mod. I also already had 1 child with my farmhand marriage. A birth cutscene from one of my mods was shown after my farmer went to bed, but I was never prompted to name the kid and my kid never showed up. It also still said my farmer was pregnant.
Here are some things I have done:
- I got rid of all pregnancy mods and the sebastian romance mod, but I kept the free love one.
- got rid of my first child using the statue because I saw that my save file was saying that I have not had any children yet (presumably because of my marriage to sebastian and that the first child was not with sebastian)
- then I noticed in my save file the pregnancy value with sebastian (farmerpregnantsebastian) was 22 so I was obviously past the 14 day mark, I put it down to 12 and then played two more days to get to 14, still nothing triggered.
I also saw that there is a pregnancy 2 week memory line in the save file, and I was wondering if that was also causing the birth event to not trigger anymore because it technically happened (even though it didn't work). I wanted to know how I can safely remove/change this line. I am not familiar with editing my save files, so I wanted to ask if anyone can assist me with this.
