Switch [HELP] Missing Crops & Sprinkler

I had pineapple plants on my ginger island farm around an iridium sprinkler. All of the available plots around the sprinkler except one had a crop that was full grown and almost ready to harvest again. The next morning, my sprinkler and 11 of the crops had just disappeared. The land stayed tilled where the crops were and still had the fertilizer there. The remaining crops were still there as before and became ready to harvest.
I’m not sure what caused this. I exited to the title and came back in, and it was still the same. I’ve seen posts about this happening before, but they were from a couple of years back. Has this happened to anyone else recently? Is there a way to recover my plants?

I have found the exact same thing. It's occurs on the PS4 console, and my sprinklers are missing for sure along with crops. I thought it was crows, but I've never known crows to take sprinklers.

It occurs on the PC version as well. Lost 2 iridium sprinklers with crops on my PC game on ginger island farm and an iridium sprinkler with the pressure nozzles and crops on the ps4 game on the island as well.

I have a theory that weeds or debris destroy the sprinklers. – I am guessing.
Correct me if I am wrong.
