Switch HELP IVE LOST MY MERMAIDS PENDANT

ive checked every single chest i have ive checked my fridge i even checked the lost and found still cant find it....is there any way i can get a new one???

You can just buy a new one. As long as you’re not married or living with Krobus, he should keep selling them.

Maybe a silly question, but are you sure you didn't gave it to someone accidently? If not, you can buy a new one, even if you already proposed.

Currently, the Switch version has a bug related to crafting that may cause important items like the Mermaid's Pendant
to be consumed instead of the intended materials.

In this case, you will need to purchase the Mermaid's Pendant again on a rainy day.

No because I’ve been having things disappear too. I’m on the switch 2. But I’ve noticed for SURE twice now mystery boxes/geodes disappearing from my inventory. There’s also a bug that’s allowing me to make the smoker and mystic seed without the required ingredients. I wonder if those two are related somehow????

Yes, those two are related.
This bug causes various items to be consumed instead of moss and other materials.

A patch to fix this is expected to be released soon.
Until then, it's best to avoid crafting the following items.

Blue Grass Starter
Heavy Furnace
Deluxe Worm Bin
Fish Smoker
Mushroom Log
Speed-Gro
Treasure Totem
Statue Of Blessings
Deluxe Bait
Challenge Bait
Moss Soup

Its not the Switch version it's the switch 2 version.

No, this bug is also occurring on the Switch version.
An update for the Switch version (v1.6.15 build 11) was released simultaneously with the Switch 2 version,
and it seems this bug started occurring after that.

And to confirm this bug, I am currently playing the Switch version and have seen this bug occur multiple times.
