Switch [HELP] Empty Journal

Hello! After a hiatus, I opened my save file after a while and now my journal is empty. I have about 90 hours on my file, so the journal definitely shouldn’t be empty and I wouldn’t want to delete my file. I already slept, hoping that a new day would reset the journal, but that didn’t work. I also turned my switch off and closed the game multiple times without any success. Does anyone have any advice on how to fix my journal? I was thinking maybe getting a new quest or updating a quest might force the journal to refresh, but I’m not sure what to do to trigger that. Thank you!

Your journal, as in the list of what current quests you have? It's certainly possible for it to be empty if you don't have any current quests active.
