Wow, I enjoyed the heck out of the bit until I hit a Tumblr login only page. Which I will likely do, if I can go back to the dinosaur computer and find my password....

Her Mr. Qi in parts remind me of Traffic's song Vagabond Virgin, at least the part of the text that goes:
"Tell me how you want me to be, then look again and you will see, that I'm still the same, Love. Think me into any shape, your twisted mind has no escape. But don't be ashamed, Love. It's just a game, Love. You can learn how to play."

Steve Winwood's first solo album: Steve Winwood also came to mind as I read it, with songs like Hold On (to me), Time Is Running Out, and Midland Maniac.

It's also giving me ideas... *groan* I don't need more of those.

The author noted she appealed, since it is NOT an adult scene.

If you still can't get in after toggling your settings, it's basically that after being knocked down by the monster in the mines, she wakes up at home with Linus there, petting her cat. He rescued her, as he does in game, too. He observes that the sword Marlon gave her is too big for her, then finds a secret panel in the floor where her grandpa left behind his second best sword (a Silver Saber) an a comment her granddad must've taken the other one. He vanishes while Moira is still asking how he knew her grandpa.

And this is the link to part 46, which is a familiar cutscene...

Super late to this but I love the background lore tidbit to our character being the 'chosen one' by grandpa, though I do sometimes like the implication that we're just a single child of single children and we're the only one who it could eventually be passed down to

When does this comic update? it's kinda good. i haven't read webcomics in a veeery long time because, well, aside from reasons, the quality of the internet has diminished in the past decade, but this is kinda fkn good.
