I host a multiplayer save with a friend and we had already unlocked the Walnut Room before buying the rest from the Joja bird. We went for a 100% Joja run because we wanted the achievement for it and thought, "why not knock two birds out with one stone". That's when we realized we can't use the /recountnuts command since it did not work, and later found that we locked ourselves out of using the command because we purchased the birds.
So my friend and I thought maybe a possible fix could be that if you've already collected the required amount of Golden Walnuts to unlock the door, (which is 101 not 100), you can still use the /recountnuts bug to get the amount you collected. Excluding the amount you purchased from Joja bird as a way so that you can use the command and get what you personally collected and not what you paid to be collected.
