Hey all, I just made an account on this site because I've been playing with my girlfriend for a few days now, and recently her game has started freezing a lot while we're playing co-op together. We've been able to play other games like It takes two, Split fiction, etc, so it's not a problem with her hardware. We've noticed that when I do certain things in the game, like when I'm placing an item/harvesting something, her game freezes for a solid few seconds. It also happens when I join her farm, but it also just happens sporadically.
We've tried a lot of fixes we've seen online including:
- Changing task manager priority
- Playing in borderless & windowed mode
- Disabling certain cpu cores
- Trying to play both with and without mods, still freezing either way.
This is extremely frustrating because we love this game and we're having a blast playing it, but it's slowly gotten worse over time to the point where it's becoming very unenjoyable for her to play. If anyone would be so kind as to recommend some fixes that worked for you, or if you have anything in mind that we could try, we'd really appreciate the help. Thank you all
