Favourite crop to grow?

Melons and pumpkins because they've always been the first "big" harvest for me in any playthrough

Outside of that... I like planting corn, lasting two seasons is a really nice thing, and it comes with the bonus of not needing to retill your farm

I have to say that coffee beans is a big favorite of mine. Lasting two seasons and harvest every two days after mature. Multiple crops per harvest. And the harvested crop is its own seed, so no need for seed makers. Even if you've got a couple thousand beans, they can be processed in a day with a big shed full of kegs. By the time the last keg has been filled, the first keg has finished processing, so it's just to start over. I go through 640 beans every 2 hours with the layout I've got in my sheds.

How could I forget about those. Absolutely agree. I usually dedicate about a fourth of greenhouse space to them for supplying me with triple shot espressos.

My favorite crops to grow are Coffee, Cranberries, Tomatoes, and the three Mill crops: Wheat, Beets, and Rice. I don't like buying them from Pierre, and I really like the fun of growing them to use in cooking instead of just throwing them into a keg to sell.

Much the same with me, I buy a base stock of five from Pierre when getting the kitchen and then save up for a mill 😃
