Easter egg?

Easter egg? I only started playing Stardew Valley a few weeks ago, and I've been completely addicted, I already have around 100 hours in the game. While I was fishing, I noticed that raindrops splashing on the ground formed a heart shape. Is this an intentional Easter egg?
