Hello. First of all, I apologize for my English; I am using Google Translate. Secondly, I hope I can explain myself as clearly as possible.
I stepped away from Stardew Valley for weeks, so when I returned to it, I was still accustomed to the controls in Minecraft (using the Shift key to move items within the inventory). Consequently, when I started playing again, I held down the Shift key while selecting items from my inventory, which caused them to be duplicated.
It was a mistake I didn’t even notice until I saw that the objects were still in the same place. What worries me most is that my save file could get corrupted in future updates. It was in my main playthrough, and honestly, I’m quite attached to it—I’ve invested way too much time into it to just not care.
Can anyone tell me if my save file is safe, or should I consider it lost? I saved the game, closed the application, logged back in, and everything is exactly as I left it.
