Do you still persevere in refilling your pet's bowl in late game?

I'll be quite honest in saying that the rain is FAR more consistent at filling my pet bowl than I am

That being said, I sometimes fill it when walking by, and depending on the save, often have my watering can always on my for volcano runs for example, so my pet gets some very sporadic water (I'm a much better pet owner in real life please don't think I'm just starving and leaving my dog to find water on her own :'( ).

I have some concerns if she will be thirsty or not in summer if I don't replenish her bowl.
I already have a small lovely cat.
She gives me a fish occasionally.

I am thinking if I need a puppy but I suppose I will probably be extremely busy and ignore their feelings.
It is hard to decide so I am still on the fence. :cat: :dog:
I hope there are no hard feelings if I don't water their bowls.
But I think they will be furious living without water.

(Just ... don't bite me anyway.)

What do you think? :frown: frown again
If you are worried about not gaining hearts with your pet. Over time regardless you will get max hearts (I gained this the very first time I played after a few years) I never refilled the water bowl nor did I pet the dog
However when it comes to water bowls I have not found a automated refilling system as of yet it used to be that you could place a sprinkler next to it and it would Auto refill just like it does for the slime water troughs however that is no longer the case
