Do you go to ginger island on every playthrough?

Yeah. Usually not immediately after unlocking it, because when I go to the island the first time I stay there for a few days, so I need to prepare myself and the farm for that. I like going in winter cuz there are no crops to worry about. But I do like GI and personally see no reason to ignore it.

Understandable. Maybe I'm just lazy. Lol

Also I'm new to the forum, what should I do?

I've seen some people who heavily dislike it and never go there. Theres stuff exclusive to it, but if you don't care about that, nothing's really stopping you from never going there.
It is needed for 100%, right?

Game discussion isn't too active rn, most of the stuff happens in the forum games. I hang around there a lot. Check out the subforum in off topic, maybe you'll like it.

For doing stuff you get trophies, which give points. You can click on your or anyone elses point amount to see what trophies there are, how to get them and how many points they give. After reaching a certain amount you get a new title.
Edit: here's exactly how many you need
Newcomer 0+ points, Greenhorn 1+, Cowpoke 3+, Bumpkin 11+, Farmhand 18+, Tiller 33+, Sodbuster 38+, Rancher 58+, Planter 68+, Farmer 98+, Local Legend 178+.

Edit 2: if you have more questions like that, make an introduction or something so we can talk there and not derail this thread from GI discussion.

Curious to hear your answers.
Hi, there Nestor, welcome 🙋🏻.

I go there everytime, just for some stuff and having some kind of vacacion home, but getting there is annoying first bc you always have to see Willy to take you over. It's easier later on when having both, Island and Farm Obelisk.

Thanks for the kindness! I like the thought of being able to fast travel.
I've never been to ginger island, actually. I'm on my second run in summer year 1 and my first playthrough ended in year three, after getting 2 candles lit.

I avoid it as much as possible bc the parrots are evil and like to beat up innocent turtles and drop monkeys in volcanos under the guise of a transport service

Find your own coconuts!
You're kinda evil against the monkeys, aren't you?

Exactly why I stay there for a while. Waiting for Willy to open every time and paying the 1000 g is annoying. Also getting to the beach and back to the farm.

I'd reccomend to try to explore it yourself as much as you can. Wiki and help from here can make it way easier, and aren't bad if you're really stuck, but spoilers can really ruin that first time experiencing it that is hard to replicate.

On which sub should I post my introduction?
