Do you go to ginger island on every playthrough?

Is it possible to pay for every single coconut? (Shows you how long it's been since I've been to the island haha). Because I may do that out of spite next time I go there
You have to unlock the first one at Leo's house but you can pay for all the rest if you have enough spare money. It's expensive but if you gather all the easy ones then it's not too bad.

Do you have any future farms/challenges in mind?
Didn't really think about that yet. I'm doing one where I don't buy seeds from Pierre/Joja/Night market/Oasis + my first time playing on 25% profits (or anything else than 100% really), but I'm not far into it (autumn y1), so I don't plan on starting another farm anytime soon.

Enjoying it. I'm not trying to make the fastest progress possible so its not stressful, I'm just generally progressing slower. Currently I spend almost every day completely in the mines while making a little bit of passive money. Not the most productive thing i could be doing, but my mining and combat skills are lagging behind + I like it there. Got my favourite savage ring recently.

You can, but getting all the 130 via payment is quite expensive... There are many of them more or less easy to find, the rest you can buy.

I hava a question: do you have someone you usually marry or it depends?
I try to marry a different NPC each time I play.

Also, I always go to Ginger Island. It usually takes me a while to unlock it, though. I really dislike the skull cavern in the desert, so getting iridium is a pain in the early game.

Yes. I agree.

I've gone to Ginger Island in every farmer that's made it that far. (I ended Mord in 1.5 before he finished the community centre.) so... 4 times so far.

I tend to feel guilty if I'm leaving a spouse behind while I overnight, though. One of the reasons Mel hasn't married yet (she's gunning for Alex, who I used to think would be the very last one I made a spouse....), because leaving your girlfriends/boyfriends for a week away is one thing, they're still in town doing their own stuff. Stranding a spouse alone on the farm feels different.

I understand. Maybe become roommates with Krobus?

100%, while it may not be the most common sentiment, I've been playing this game for just about 10 years at this point, and the early game rise and grind gets a little tiring. While I usually just play longterm farms, if I want to start up a new farm to relax, I want to hop straight into the midgame, so I'll speedrun joja and rush to the island, it's actually fairly challenging being on the island and still having basic tools, I have to actually plan my farm around the logs, hit rocks a dozen times in the volcano, etc.

Sounds like a challenge: "how fast can you get to gi?"
