I believe that's what they were saying (just adding green rain trees to the list of trees that don't)

But yes, both don't, mushroom trees are entirely reduced to their stump variant in winter, they'll keep a tapper on them if already there but you can't tap them from the stump form so make sure not to knock any tappers off
