Switch Disappearing chest and money

Playing on the switch in co-op mode and had 2 strange things happen. I was at Willy’s attempting to buy bait and the game kinda hung up and then only had ~300 coins when I know I went in there with over 10k. I thought I accidentally bought out the shop but I had no additional items in my inventory. My bf was mining in the caves at the time so he wasn’t spending anything.
The second thing was my bf noticed a chest he had put in his house disappeared randomly. Has all his clothing type items in it and it’s just gone.

The chest didn’t seem like it was going to come back the next day as it wasn’t there before we logged off after it saved. But after restarting the whole switch and reloading the game, it came back. The game crashes often the moment a second player joins in so we’ve resorted to restarting the switch in between sessions

I have had the same issue with a co-op game on switch. A chest in one of our cabins disappeared with all of one players tools

After reloading the chest reappeared. Also the the main player was able to see the chest before the reload but not able to access any items

The missing coins at Willy’s could be a desync issue where funds or inventories misalign, so saving and reloading regularly might help. The disappearing chest might have been moved or affected by another desync, so check storage areas or reload your game. Filemail has been a game-changer for me as a musician.
