Thought it might be fun to make some DIY cross-stitch patterns of the crops. I don’t own the official book of cross stitch patterns (yet lol) and I like to craft my own stuff, even if it’s janky sometimes. Figured I’d go alphabetically to start, so first up is Amaranth. I looove the purple in-game, and had a hard time picking the right matching thread colors (the app I use corresponds with DMC thread colors). I imagine the official patterns are much more accurate! Alas, I can’t get a symbology for creation but I tried to use the stitch types to mark out the differences in one of the attached files here.

I used to use Stitcher for iOS but it seems to have broken in the latest Apple updates :( So, I’m trying out “Cross Stitch Pattern Maker” (also for iOS, I art on an iPad mini I bought secondhand off my sister-in-law years ago) and I like it enough so far to pay the one-time $4 to unlock the full version. Here’s to paying creators and developers!
I do like how it has come out but I fear the colors are too similar. Constructive criticism welcome!
