Switch Consistent Lag and a Full Game Crash

I play the game on Switch, and have been for a couple of years. After the 1.6 update, I've noticed the game will have momentarily lag. It wasn't an issue at first, just annoying as it would occur a lot while fishing. The lag freezes the screen for about 2 seconds and than continues on a normal frame rate. It wasn't until Winter Year 1 during the Squid contest that I experienced my first, and so far, only game crash. I never experienced a crash before the update. Hoping these issues get resolved, as despite the occasional issues, I've had so much fun with the 1.6 update.

Yes first priority for next patch is to fix the performance issues and crashes. So it should rectify what you and others are experiencing, hopefully in the coming days.

I got a silimar problem on Switch but it happen 90% of time on the farm map. It's approx 1 second lag every 4 seconds playing

This is most likely caused by having hats on your pets. (Dogs/Cats/Turtles). Take the hats off and your game should work normally!
