Confirmation check for going down ladders

Pretty please consider adding the conformation check to down ladders in the mines, like the ones for shafts and up ladders? I know it's a tiny thing but I can't be the only one who's gone to pick up an item and accidentally gone down a just-opened ladder instead.

It's TRUE, we've all done it. Lol But I prefer it because it's saved my life during many of encounters with enemies. I definitely would like a togglable option for it!
