1.6 Update Catalog not moving and automatically choosing my tool problem, any idea?

Since the 1.6 update on my iPad, I have had two problems so far.

First, it kept changing my tool every time I did something. An axe was on top of my toolbar, whenever I do something, it changes to an axe.

So I cleared the top item on the toolbar, and let empty there but when I got items it filled up that space. For example, If I got gems I held gems

before I switched something else from the toolbar. Often the axe was on top,

I removed my fences or chests if I was careless.

Second, I had catalog things that I wanted to change the position but I could not move it. The Internet said preas-hold will do it and zoom in then press-hold

will do it. But 1 catalog I couldn’t do it. Every time I press hold it opens the catalog. It was very frustrating.

Any idea? I hope that you understand what I mean.

Yep the first glitch should be patched now? You can try switching to a different control scheme (one with buttons) in settings and that should fix it while the patch comes out if it hasn’t already.

the other issue will be solved by using button setting too, the game often struggles with some things when you aren’t using dedicated buttons that have their own use. One of those buttons will open then catalogue and the other will pick it up
