Switch Can't use bombs at all

[Sifismikel]

V1.6.15.3 - I am holding a bomb (any type) but it won't drop, it just is blank?
Pretty much making skull cavern unplayable. I've tried restarting, moving data location, etc. But nothing is fixing that bombs will not even drop out of inventory??

This has happened to me as well but with hay. I can't put my hay down in the barn... Is there a fix for this?
