Can't upgrade cabin

My partner can't upgrade their cabin in our local split screen session.

When they go to Robin it just opens up her shop menu and doesn't offer an upgrade option.

My house as I am the host have 2 upgrades but I also don't have the option to upgrade her cabin at Robin's.

Please help.

We are on Nintendo Switch.

Have you tried going on a different day?

They may have requested her go build another building and she's still at the desk on the same day

I don't think either of us did that but I will try it.

Still can not upgrade it on a different day. The host can upgrade their house and renovations plus construct new buildings but the 2nd player with the cabin when they talk to Robin only the shop menu opens.

Are you sure she isn't currently upgrading the cabin? Because that sounds like her bahavior while a cabin is being upgraded. You see no sign of work being done and then three business days later, the cabin is just upgraded. Can you tell if your funds went down from your partner's first attempt?

I don't notice that they did. A day or two has passed should I wait another day or two and see if anything happens?

That's why I suggested going on another day, that's pretty much what happens when you request a building be made, maybe she's glitching out a bit?

Hi perfvillain, were you ever able to figure out what the issue is? I am having the same problem on my farm. I waited 10 days since first trying to upgrade and the cabins are still the same and robin doesnt have the option to upgrade.
