Windows Can't get to Dwarf in mines - exploit problem maybe?

Hi - needing help accessing the dwarf in the mines :(

I have the translation guide but there has been a boulder in place for about 3-4 seasons now and it's not going anywhere.

this is 1.6 - this particular save file was started after the 1.6 update so it's not that.

Using PC windows, single player, keyboard and mouse.

I did use exploit to get the last scroll, I feel like maybe that could be why??? how can I fix it!!

Place a bomb to blow it up.

Also steel pickaxe will break it.

Actually scrolls are not even needed -- but you cannot interact with Dwarf if you don't have the translation guide.
