Tea bushes make excellent fences that never decay.
Lightning rods also work but I think the bushes are prettier.
Or you can try some other fences. Wood fence decays quickly, stone, metal and hardwood are slower.
Tea bushes produce tea leaves only the last week of spring, summer and autumn (22 - 28), one leaf per day. They also require 21 days to reach maturity, so if you planted them after Spring 8, they were not yet mature during the spring tea leaves season and you'll have to wait for Summer 22.How do you get the leaves off tea bushes? I planted some at beginning of spring...in summer now and nothing is happening when I walk up to the bushes ...as usually you just automatically collect stuff from crops if there's anything to collect (on switch version anyway..unless its whet then it says you need the scythe).
where do I get the garden pot from?Tea bushes produce tea leaves only the last week of spring, summer and autumn (22 - 28), one leaf per day. Tea bushes can also produce leaves during the last week of winter if grown indoor (i.e. garden pot or greenhouse).
Once you have the greenhouse, you get the recipe for the garden pot.where do I get the garden pot from?
thats no use to me then was thinking of it for use instead of the greenhouse until it could be completedOnce you have the greenhouse, you get the recipe for the garden pot.
You can also buy the recipe for starter grass from Pierre for 1k and then you can craft starter grass with 10 fiberPierre has an item called "Grass Starter". It costs 100 gold, but if you place it, grass will grow out of it eventually and fill the area (you will have to wait of course).
When you cut down grass for feed, always leave some tufts here and there so it has a chance to grow out again.
For the hay issue, in the future I recommend always collecting extra grass (not all) and placing it in a chest (I mostly do this to save up for the winter). If you have a lot of animals then this is even more useful, because if you ever run out you just take out the stack and keep it. If you don't know how to collect hay, just go to the feeding station of a coop or barn and keep withdrawing the hay until the silo is almost empty. Then cut all the grass you wish, and you have a bonus stack of hay for later use.I'm stuck on Forest Farm so had to close it.
Silo has run out of hay and there's no grass left on farm to cut to make more...would happen on a Tuesday so of course Marnie is not behind the counter! Cutting grass outside of the farm has not added anything to the silo.
Also went down mine to get further to get iron ore and on level 19 had busted every rock round to bottom front and there was no ladder to level 20...I'm guessing it's at the other side of the huge boulder thats in my way that needs the iron axe! ..so how am I meant to get further down to get the iron ore to upgrade the axe?
staircases??? do you mean the ladders in the mine?Another trick for the mines is to craft staircases (if you have the recipe unlocked) for 100 units of rock (or you can buy some at the desert trader for one jade each). A bit expensive at the beginning, but rock is always plentiful in the mines, and stairsare very useful for skipping spiral floors, or when you're being mobbed by enemies and want to skeddadle, or seeing the clock tick closer and closer to 2:00, or doing Skull Cavern runs, or whatever else you might do with them.
l also suggest always carrying a couple of extra staircases if you go that way, since you wont be stuck if you accidentally waste one of them by missclicking.
And last but not least, there are a total of three spiral floors in the mines, at levels 19, 59, and 99, just so you know
Yes, there is an item that you will get a recipe for called "staircase" that can be made with 100 stone or purchased for 1 jade each. They make a "ladder" or "stairs" down to the next level so that you don't have to find some the hard way... especially useful for when you're trying to move quickly.staircases??? do you mean the ladders in the mine?
oh didn't know that thanks...do I need one staircase per level or can I just move the same one from level to level with me?Yes, there is an item that you will get a recipe for called "staircase" that can be made with 100 stone or purchased for 1 jade each.
