iOS Can’t remove scarecrow

Hi all- I’m playing on an iPad and no matter how many times I try, I can’t seem to move the skeleton scarecrow I placed. I’ve tried axe/hoe/pickaxe and it just wont move. Any ideas?

Seconding what Xander said, also make sure you're actually hitting it instead of a tile next to it. Some items can be weird on mobile, too, try swapping to a control layout with buttons and then using that to pickaxe it, the buttons are much more reliable input-wise

I actually found an answer on google that worked—-I had to hold my finger down on the screen until I picked it up. IOS of course has to be different :)

That's how you pick up some furniture on android, you cant do it with tools but rather like you said just hold on it. Scarecrows are usually picked up by a tool.
Also you said its a skeleton scarecrow but I don't remember this one being in game, can you send a picture/tell how its obtained?

maybe it’s a cursed mannequin? That would be furniture

I love the tap to move controls but there notoriously bad for pickaxing things. Filthy Gorilla said what I wanted to say. Just switch to buttons and try it that way.
