Windows cabin level

Hi everyone! I need some help with a co-op issue in Stardew Valley.

I upgraded my cabin to level 1, but I actually want to use it as a storage room at level 0, so I want to get rid of the kitchen.

Is there a way to downgrade the cabin or remove just the kitchen? I know I can demolish it via Robin, but if I delete the cabin, my character data will be lost.

How can I revert this upgrade without losing the character or deleting the building? Any help or save-editing advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Idk about this stuff, but why not just let Robin build another one? They're cheap enough...

Also, if I place the cabin somewhere else, it will be too far to walk to the main area. Plus, my in-game spouse and I are married, and I want to wake up in their house! I want to wake up in his home
