PC [BUG] When starting Local Multiplayer, host game returns to title screen

When I start a game and try to go to local multiplayer, the screen splits, but the original game returns to the title screen and the new game cannot connect.

Environment:

• Windows 10
• Game Version 1.5.4

Steps to reproduce:

1. Load game
2. Go to Start Local Co-op
   
   
3. Press start on second controller
   
   

Unexpected outcome:

After a while, the right game says it couldn't connect.
