Well after emailing support and getting no response, I thought I'd try here to find a solution.
I play on Mac, my partner plays on Windows. He is the host. We've had continuous crashing issues that we've been able to just accept and deal with until now, it's damage is becoming flat out annoying.
A few weeks ago (May 23) I had an issue where my game crashed after giving the guy in the truck a rabbit's foot in order to receive the Special Charm. I relogged into the server to find that not only did I not have the Special Charm, but I didn't have my rabbit's foot. I figured I could just give another rabbit's foot to the guy when I got one and it would. Several in game days pass, I get another and I go to bring it to him and I can't. So that's one item I've lost.
Today, I went to enter the casino and realized I couldn't. The guard isn't there, it just kept teleporting me outside the room back into the one with Sandy. Left the building inside and out several times to find that I still couldn't enter the casino just to find out my club card was now also suddenly missing. So now that's two.
I have absolutely no way of knowing how long ago losing that item was so I can't even go back to get it, on top of it you can only go back one day. We never had this issues on our Year 5 save pre 1.5 and as one of my favorite games this is incredibly disappointing.
So that brings me to asking if anyone has a fix. Any sort of mod or glitch or hack that I can do to get my two wallet items back because it's just incredibly frustrating, especially after not receiving anything from the game's support (not even any sort of automated message that says they can't deal with whatever issue I'm having). What other things are going to suddenly and randomly disappear from my inventory??
