PC [BUG] Tea bushes at Island Farm

So I planted tea saplings on garden pots at my island farm on Fall 28th. Nothing weird happened, I was able to water them like usual. But, the next day, which is Winter 1st, as you can see from the picure, the bushes are covered in snow (even though I planted them on ginger island) and I cannot water them.

Just so you know, tea saplings do not need watering. Says it at the tooltip.

So, really, the issue isn't that you can't water them, as @laotrayamada pointed out. The issue is that they respond to the seasons but shouldn't (just like all other plants) when planted on the island.

I had the same problem with tea saplings on the island Farm. Very frustrating. Thought stuff was supposed to grow year-round on the island. Weird to have ice on just tea plants in a supposedly tropical environment
