Leo is not moved into the mainland yet (in fact, I have zero hearts so far :/ ) but I received him as my secret friend for the Feast of the Winter Star. I didn't think anything of it when I got the letter, but now that I'm at the event and can't find him, I looked it up and found that he doesn't move to the island until the 6 heart event.
Now I have no one to gift to, thus keeping me from receiving my gift.
Not hugely upsetting on this save file, as I'm already on year 5 or so, but for a brand new save this would be a bit disappointing.
Hope this is an easy fix!
