PlayStation [BUG] Skull Cavern Hard Mode Not Reverting

Hi everyone,

First time poster but I am playing this game on PS4 with two friends. We recently accepted the Mr Qi quest to reach the advanced skull cavern level 100 and completed it. However, after completing it the skull caverns remained on the hard mode. Is anyone having this issue and have any suggestions of how to turn it back to normal? I have tried completing the quest again and waiting an entire week after completing and it is still stuck on the hard version. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advanced.

I have had the exact same issue. I took on Qi's quest - and didn't complete it. But when the time ran out, the mines stayed at HARD. It has been multiple seasons since, and it won't revert back. It also impacts my ability to finish the regular challenge of getting to level 100 (another forum suggested that this challenge can't be completed with this glitch), and the mines are really difficult, even for the challenges at the Calico Desert Festival. I am also playing Multiplayer on Playstation.

I also began having this problem about a month ago. The skull caverns have been in hard mode but I never activated the "Skull Cavern Invasion" it started for me after I accepted the "Four Precious Stones Quest". I am also playing Multiplayer on the Playstation 5
