Switch Bug Report — Marnie Missing From Shop

I started a new farm in Stardew Valley on the Nintendo Switch, and when I reached Winter 1 of Year 1, I noticed that Marnie had completely stopped appearing in her shop/house.



I have been going to Marnie’s Ranch every day to check if she is there, but she is never inside. I’ve tried visiting at different times of the day, including during her normal shop hours, but she still doesn’t appear.

I’m now on Wednesday, Spring 3, Year 2, and Marnie is still not in her shop. So this has continued from the entire Winter season into Spring of Year 2.



Has anyone else experienced this?

I tried one more time to be sure and still no marnie. When I try to go true the door, she says something but won

I tried one more time just to be sure, and Marnie is still not appearing in her shop.

When I try to go through the door during her shop hours, it triggers dialogue from Marnie, but she never actually appears behind the counter.

I remember seeing a similar issue where someone placed a chair behind her door, and that would cause her to get stuck there every day when she was leaving her room.

It does look like there is something behind the door, but I don’t see her in her room either.
