PC [BUG] No golden coconuts

I just posted this in the general game thread, but I didn't notice there was a help and bugs section.
I've had Ginger Island for a summer season and half of fall and have found absolutely no golden coconuts. I shake all the trees, break all the rocks, and check all over and get artifact worms. Do I have some crazy glitch and am gonna have to start a new farm? Am I missing something? I'm extremely confused as to what is going on. I obviously get golden walnuts but no golden coconuts. Nothing else seems out of place except for not ever seeing pirates either.

Sources for coconuts:
1 - shake palm trees on Ginger Island
2 - dig at artifact spots on Ginger Island
3 - buy them from the Island Trader for 10 coconuts

Pirates: found after 8pm on even days when it is not raining

It is possible that you just have been unlucky. Are you using any mods?

No mods :/ I think just very unlucky. I can't buy them from the trader till I find my first one
