The game is lagging badly at times and makes it very difficult to fish. I also just tried to make a recipe and none of the stuff in the refrigerator or mini-fridges that I have are showing up. I am able to make food with the items in the fridge, but everything reads as having 0. Right now I am only playing single player and on a file created before the update. I am running v1.6.9 build 36.
I frozen so bad at one point I ended up dying on lvl 89 of the skull cavern. Then I went and bought 3 more mini fridges for them to just read 0 when I go to cook.
