Switch [BUG] Flute block delay

Platform: Switch
Version: 1.5.4.2

Problem:
Flute blocks placed next to each other do not play in sequence – only one block is triggered and a second block cannot be activated until the first block has finished playing (timed out).

This can be reproduced by placing two differently tuned blocks next to each other and walking past them. This produces only one long note.

NOTE: If I quit to title and reload my save, the first time I pass the two blocks they both activate in sequence as expected (correctly). But any time after this I get the problem described above.
