Does the checkup say something like: "Save file shows 127 walnuts, but we found markers for 130"? If tat's the case, it has happened to other people too and likely a common bug

You might want to take a look at this thread where someone had the same problem and I told him how to fix it. If the checkup looks similar to his with it saying "! Warning: Save lists a count of 127 but we've found markers for 130", all you have to do is follow the same steps I gave to him, but substitute "127" where I said "129" to him.
