Bigfoot

Just tested the Robin shortcut tip at 10:10 p.m., can confirm the footprints appear briefly. Pretty easy to miss if you're not looking for them. Haven’t seen Bigfoot himself yet, but this definitely adds more weight to the sightings people have mentioned around the Wizard's Tower and Secret Woods. Cool little detail from the devs.

Just saw him run by below the pond in the secret woods, but what hasn't been mentioned yet in this discussion is that audio signs of Bigfoot have been in the game all along-in my opinion. At night there are sometimes 2 different sounds reported in the real world by experiencers of Sasquatch. One is a two tone whistle. These are not owls, and I don't know of any night birds that make this sound, but whistling is often heard in areas where Bigfoot are reported. The second one in the game is the eerie howl heard especially during rainy nights. This also sounds suspiciously like some of the recorded Bigfoot sounds. Since Concerned Ape modeled the Stardew Valley environment on his (and my) Pacific Northwest area, it seems logical that there would be indications of the creature in the game. I am so thrilled that the newest version gives us actual glimpses of the hairy guy! I have heard them for real in the Gifford Pinchot national forest area while camping, and though the sounds I heard are not the same.... roaring back and forth across the valley, and long drawn out bellowing/groaning noises, there is a lot of variety in their vocalizations. I have never seen one, so it is super fun to spot one in the game!
