artifacts i need helpp

so i've run into a problem.. i'm literally in my 6th year on stardew and i haven't found all of my artifacts. (i've literally unlocked everything else but them yikes) the only items i have left are the ornamental fan and ancient sword. i know you can dig them up from artifact spots but i keep getting clay or rocks. i've also bought tons of artifact troves from the desert trader and still no luck. anyone have tips for finding artifacts? and also does just tilling the ground allow me to get artifacts? please help i'm feeling hopeless and this feels impossible.

If you're on your 6th year you may have unlocked the recipe for the Treasure Totem, it's one of the benefits of Foraging Mastery. If so, use one at the Beach in a clear area to spawn 16 Artifact Spots and start hoeing them. Keep doing this until you find the Ornamental Fan. For the Ancient Sword, do the same but in the Mountains (or Cindersap). Problem with these places is the relative shortage of spots that can spawn Artifact Spots, so you'll need to test a bit to find the best coverage (and restart the day).

I now realize I made a guide for all the digable times on Ginger Island to use Treasure Totems on but never did one for the Pelican Town Maps. Looks like I have a new project!
