Android Android 1.6.9.49 crashing constantly

Downloaded new update this morning and now the game won't stop crashing. Was crashing on my week plus old game and the new farm I started. Restarted phone, cleared cache and data, force stopped game, Uninstalled app, no luck still crashing.

I'm playing on a Samsung S24 Ultra with no mods.

Hi! Absolutely no help here because I'm experiencing the same issue. My save won't even load it crashes on the loading screen. Following along for some help.

I also think I just had a glitch when selling overnight and having multiple skill increases at the same time. What I was selling was lost to the void. The crashing glitches seem to largely come from interacting with villagers when completing an errand.

Alright, thanks for the information! We'll continue to look into this, and hopefully have some more of these crashes resolved in upcoming patches.

Game keeps crashing when trying to make a phone call on phone purchased from Robin. (But when I load my old 1.5 save it works just fine)
It also keeps crashing on the sardine challenge when I try to talk to Demetrius after catching fish.
It also added a second cabin next to mine on a single player game.

I'm playing on Fire HD 10 (11th edition) - never had any issues with 1.5 on same system

Please help! Been waiting for this update for mobile/android for a long time.
