Switch An unexpected error occurred

Hello, good morning. I wanted to know if there’s any way to fix the following issue: I’m playing Stardew Valley in co-op with my girlfriend. We play local split-screen on the Nintendo Switch. The problem is that sometimes the gameplay suddenly freezes for a few seconds and then goes back to normal. But after playing for a few hours, the game just closes by itself and shows the message “An unexpected error occurred.”

I’m not sure what to do here, so I’m looking for your help, please. Just to repeat, this happens in split-screen mode on the Nintendo Switch. Thanks 🫂
