Solved Achievement bug [Xbox]

I recently got the "gourmet chef" achievement, but for some reason I couldn't unlock the "Sous chef" achievement, which would be mandatory to get the Gourmet Chef. I play on Xbox and would like help to correct this error, as I intend to get all the achievements of the game.

That should be fixed in the upcoming Stardew Valley 1.6.9. When loading a save, it'll now recheck most achievements and unlock any that weren't set correctly the first time. Thanks for reporting it!

Currently having the same issue. Sous chef wont unlock, playing on xbox, game is fully updated. Any advice?

The upcoming Stardew Valley 1.6.16 rewrites the achievement/trophy code to work much more reliably (especially on PS/Xbox). In particular:

• Every achievement will have a way to re-trigger it.
• Re-triggering an achievement will now re-send the trophy ID, up to once per day. That will also work for any previous achievement/trophy which failed to unlock.
• If needed, a new diagnostic command lets us check each achievement's unlock conditions so we can see why it's not unlocked.

Let me know if you still have any issues once you get that update.
