Considering that the wizard mention that he often watch the villagers in secret (and shown through his background presence at many festivals) it wouldn't take much deduction for him to realize Caroline has a daughter.

Would Pierre have reason to be jealous if he learned she'd been going to see her father? No. Nothing in Pierre's or Caroline's dialogue suggests he'd be so controlling as not letting her contact her family. If he did, he would have problems with her making friends with the other villagers too. Caroline cheated on Pierre with the wizard, and the wizard cheated on the witch with Caroline. You want to make that relationship incestuous as well as between two cheaters, that's on you. But that would mean Abigail's biological father is also her grandfather.

I think the reason Abigail's hair is purple because she at some point before the farmer entered the scene met the wizard and something like this happened:
Abigail: Why's your hair purple?
Wizard: I dyed it.
Abigail: It looks cool. Where can I buy some? Or can you buy it for me so my parents won't know?
And if there was a price for it, she paid it. (maybe why Pierre lost that stock list?)

The wizard might've had a pale complexion in his youth, but his skin has kinda turned more red/hot pink. The contents of that cauldron of his doesn't look like it might be good for someone in the long run.

I’m not sure if I understand the connection being made, but I do think Abby is the wizard’s daughter.

If you look at the town folk, that generally have natural hair colours. The only who don’t are Caroline, Abby, Emily, and the wizard (maybe Sandy).

Besides the game dialogues alluding to the fact that Abby might be the wizard’s. They have similar personalities: introverts, interested in adventure. Maybe she gets her preferences for purple from her father and they both decided to dye their hair that way.

No, ConcernedApe (creator Eric Barone) has stated that Abigail is not the Wizard's daughter, despite popular player theories suggesting it due to Abigail's purple hair, her interest in the occult, and the Wizard's comments about having a child with the Witch. The game strongly implies Abigail's natural hair color is chestnut brown (like Pierre's), which she dyes purple, and the Wizard's comment refers to a child raised by others, not necessarily Abigail.

With most genes, it is one or the other, but in cases where both genes are recessive, they can mix. I learned that last year in biology, so yeah.

That hopefully settles it, though I'd like to see the post for those who don't believe he said that.
