Xbox 10,000g is deducted when opening Willy’s shop menu

In single-player on Xbox, opening Willy’s Fish Shop menu occasionally causes an automatic deduction of exactly 10,000g. This happens immediately when the shop menu opens.
The purchase sound effect plays, but no item is received and nothing appears in the inventory.
Steps to reproduce:
Load a Year 1 Summer save
Go to Willy’s Fish Shop
Enter the shop and open the buy menu
Occasionally, 10,000g is deducted instantly upon opening
Expected result:
Opening a shop menu should not cost any gold.
Actual result:
10,000g is deducted instantly
Purchase sound plays
No item is received
Occurs intermittently (not every time)
Frequency:
Occasional but repeatable

Does it happen more than once in the same save file?

Do you maybe get the recipe for the fish smoker? That is the first item in the shop until you buy it, and it costs 10.000G. I could imagine that the game registers a double click sometimes and buys the fish smoker while opening the shop.
