iOS 1.6.14.11 screen goes black, must force quit (going south bug?)

This is the second time this occurred with this build. It feels similar to the “going south” bug I previously reported but in these cases the screen has gone almost completely black, only showing the top backpack slot and the energy bar. Music still plays, but tapping gave no response. Forcing the app to quit was the only option.

My farmer was at the railroad, on the horse, heading toward the exit when the movement stopped. This occasionally happens right before the “going south” bug so I did a backup save then instead of tapping at the exit point (as usual), I dragged my pencil along for movement since sometimes this seems to prevent the “going south” bug. On departure from the railroad to the mountain region with Robin’s, the graphics didn’t load and I just got the black screen pictured.

I’m sorry you’re having this bug too, Dippy! It’s so frustrating.

I picked up the game again today and played through a day until 1:30 am and THEN got the bug. I let time run out since it was end of day, hoping that it would go to the save screen. I had put some things in the box, and now I’m frozen on the screen with the total, the one that comes up right before it saves the day. I can’t click the green check mark or do anything. SIGH! I really hoped it’d save.

My person was heading south toward the dock on the island at 1:30 am when the bug occurred.
I had to force quit on the “what’s been sold” screen.
On restarting the app, I was asked if I wanted to restore from where I previously left off, and I clicked green for yes. It opened to the part of the island where Qi’s door is — and I hadn’t gone there on this day. (The farthest west I had been was the hut & fertile ground on the island.)
The menu & time didn’t appear, my character was not visible, and the game was unresponsive. Music was playing, but tapping got no response. (See image)

I found EMERGENCY_SAVE at the top level of the Stardew folder, and SVEMERG in the folder for this farm. They anre attached.
