trash can

On my main file I never wanted to be caught digging through the trash around the villagers, but it happens all the time accidentally anyways. Haley caught me the other day digging through Jodi/Kent's trash and she was so disgusted lol. Anyone else have embarrassing trash stories?

How can it be used? I can only put items to bin and back, but there's no opportunity to move items to Trash can. Maybe it's something redundant or outdated?

After updating my watering can to iridium I decided to update my trash can after two days of playing, I went to the blacksmith to pick it up and when I picked it up it became a weapon. I recently transferred my save from the pc to the mobile version.
