I do! I got lucky and was able to buy it. It even came up a second time - I'm on year 8 and I swear most of the vendors have repeated already, I never get anybody new. I did not buy an extra one, I figured one was enough.

Going to floor 41 of the mine repeatedly is my go-to for replenishing my supply of iron ore if I want to gather that specifically. Small enough floor to see all of it without having to walk around.
I've lately been hunting copper for kegs. 10 left to fill the keg shed. Not in any hurry though, since I'm out of oak resin too, and I let my tappers take the time they need. Besides, the kegs I've got can handle the full Ancient Fruit production of the greenhouse.

Had my first full ancient fruit harvest, and put it in the kegs. I had got enough resin and copper to make the last ones, so I filled up the remaining kegs with melons. Spent about 40,000 on starfruit seeds, about all I had on hand, and planted the first two iridium sprinklers' worth on Ginger Island, though not on the same day.
The greenhouse has 2 mango and 3 banana trees growing there now. 2 of the bananas coming from golden coconuts. Just one more banana tree and it's completely full, unless I put in garden pots, but since I don't have the deluxe retaining soil yet it's a later project. Another later project is make kegs for Ginger Island so I can process the harvest on location.
Had a day with the best possible luck, so I headed for the Skull Cavern and took a magic rock candy before going in. Rather disappointing, I have to say. Two treasure rooms and the most memorable of them was a turban. I was past floor 80 when I realized it was past 11pm. So I forced a run to floor 100, even if it meant I got chided by Qi. I've also expanded my crystallarium park and moved it indoors after adding the southern room and the corner room. All 6 of them are making jade, for staircases.
Just before the phone forced a break, I reached the point where I had fed 101 walnuts to various parrots. Last one being the parrot next to the dwarf to make a shortcut. Wanted to use the obelisk to get home rather than have to use a totem, but in my haste I forgot to drop off the mummified bat with Professor Snail and completing his collection. I did drop it off in the chest by my second home though, so there's no risk of forgetting to bring it from the mainland on my next visit. Sure, I could've spent the night on the island, but without auto-petters, I wanted to go home for the sake of the animals.

Spent the three days of the Desert Festival in Skull Cavern doing Marlons Quests, equipped with lots of bombs and Magic Rock Candy. My new husband told me, not to wait for him, he'll be home late because of the Festival... Had a good output, but fund only a few treasure rooms, one gave me a purple slime Egg! So, @Jayamos, the store has now red, green, blue and a purple eggs to offer.

Now the only thing missing is a tiger slime egg. But unlike the other slime eggs it can't be produced with a slime egg press.

Perhaps you can build but not stock? But if you have the Slime Charmer ring, things are much easier. The slimes suddenly feel like a big pack of friendly dogs instead of malice incarnate—they get in the way but don't hurt you.Hm, Wiki says, it will only be dropped, when a Slime Hutch is built. Yeah, maybe I'll try. Went to Robin yesterday and ordered a Hutch. Then I go for the striped egg and when it drops, the Hutch get's demolished again. I pretty sure, my Farmer still doesn't want to breed the eggs, although wearing the Slime Charmer Ring

I believe you can just demolish the slime hutch right away. I'm pretty sure the check is whether or not you have ever built one, not that there is currently one on the farm.Yeah, maybe I'll try. I'll check it out. And afterwards I put some Lionfish in one of my fishponds.
Turns out to become a collectors game somehow. The statues, the slime eggs, different coloured frog eggs... Actually I have a hopper connected with a geode crusher to crack the hundreds of geodes in my Stock and collect all of the minerals and artifacts just like Gunther.

On Ginger Island, all parrots have been fed, and I reached where there's only 6 walnuts left to find: colored crystals and the dart game. This time around I think I'll try both games a few times before giving up. Got a fourth banana sapling from a golden coconut a couple of days after I placed the first banana from the first tree on the altar. Now I just have to wait for more bananas to ripen, and get one more dragon tooth, and I'll be able to build the island obelisk. Also need a bunch of cinder shards for the ostrich incubator and for using the forge, having spent most of them on a pair of cinderclown shoes and the deluxe retaining soil recipe.
Also completed my first Qi quest, Qi's kindness. First on my list of things to buy is a set of pressure nozzles, even more important than the key to town, even if I can afford both. On my previous play on the hilltop farmland, I noticed the downstairs from the farmhouse is like it was made for iridium sprinklers with pressure nozzles. Haven't been to the walnut room to buy them and check out the new quests since then though. Got distracted.
Still having very little money at hand most of the time, despite having a million G in just dried purple mushrooms and aged Legend roe, and another million+ in ancient fruit wine, not counting any other stacks of processed items. First harvest of starfruit went into the kegs, causing some of the ancient fruit to be left over. The preserves jar shed is finally full, so it's time for me to upgrade that shed even if going from 60 to 128 jars will take some time if I gather all the materials myself.
I made sure to buy all 3 Lupini paintings from the Night Market, along with all seasonal plants and the seasonal decoration. Only 3 paintings remaining for a full set. At first I placed the seasonal decoration indoors, only to find it's a snowman in winter, so it got moved outside. Looking forward to year 3 and Grandpa's evaluation.

Today, my farmer finally got the master crafter achievement. He was missing 5 dragon teeth to craft the last item. He went to the Volcano dungeon every day for the past weeks with little success: he only got 2 dragon teeth. It's always frustrating to see a dragon skeleton on one or two levels, but not tooth nearby.
But today, the wheel of fate turned and he got not 1, not 3 but 6 dragon teeth in a single run.
Now, only the Golden Clock is missing to reach perfection. Like almost always.
I would have been closer to it if I had noticed sooner that my farmer had picked the agriculturist profession instead of artisan (probably switched some time ago to do a Qi's Beans quest...)

You were right btw. I went for the Tiger Slime Eggs a few days with the Hutch, but only got a Tiger Hat and the usual loot. Then I demolished it and two days later I got two Tiger Eggs at the same time from the Slimes at the Volcano Entrance.
Now I'm looking forward, if the Lionfish will produce some more... Put a few in a fishpond, but the quest isn't over yet. And I tried to change a Frog Egg into different colour with the Anvil, but this silly thing turned a Green Egg into a Green Egg three times first. After that it changed into a Red one, so the only one's missing now are yellow and void. Let's see, how much Iridium this will take...

That's my experience with reaching perfection too.
Decide on how many iridium bars you're prepared to spend on getting one of them, and reset the day if you don't get the right color in time.
