Windows "Connection Failed" Message.

Hi all!
I’ve been playing online with my boyfriend for a pretty long time, but I just moved and changed internet and now every time I try to join, it says connection failed. I’ve restarted my PC, the game, steam, and so has he. I’ve also checked integrity of files, and I’ve also tried to host, but it says connection failed on his end too. I don’t think it’s a Wi-Fi issue because I tried my personal hotspot with the same result ;-; we’ve also tried invite code, which resulted in the same thing. Anyone know what could be wrong? Our Steam client is up to date, Stardew up to date, and so are our computers. I've tried using my Wi-Fi and a hot spot as well, with no avail. I did everything in the troubleshoot guide with no luck either. I've also tried hosting, but he gets the same message. We've tried everything, and we still can't get it to work anymore. Are we not able to play Stardew Valley anymore?

Yes! We did! Make sure you don’t have a vpn or anything related when you’re playing. He had some sort of vpn on and he didn’t know. But once he turned it off it worked again! Hope this helps!!

Thank you! But that wasn't my problem. I read that the steam/game servers didn't have enough memory for game save. Everything was solved by changing the first letter in the invitation code from "S" to "G", changing the steam server to GOG.
