If you made it out the top of level 10, it'll be open. There is only one exit (unless you went back through all floors)

I made it to the forge, collected my prismatic shard, couldn't find any exit, went back inside, and immediately passed out and/or died!

The way out from the 10th level is to the bottom left, I think.

Yeah, you'll have to do it again. But I'd you did it once, the second time is easier!

Yeah, I was going to say, pass out or totem/sceptre could get you out without all 9 levels to work through...

...but yeah, if you didn't take the alternate exit, you didn't hit the button so you'll have to do the volcano again, hit the button on your way out and then have easy access to level 10 from there on out.

I made it through the volcano again! Got the cinderclown shoes, started forging, having a blast!
When I'm ready to go for the snake milk, it's going to seem a lot easier this time.
