Solved Boat quest line not triggering

Im in year 3, I've completed the community centre and the wizard quest for the ink. It's been an in game month and I've been to Willy's shop a number of times but no letter to start the boat quest. I'm waiting for winter to catch a lincod and a squid but that's all I've got left on my journal. I'm playing on a Lenovo tablet. Is there a bug or am I missing something?

There was a cut seen with everyone going into and looking around the centre. Willy was by the fish tank. I talked to everyone. But nothing at Willy's shop. I've seen a crab thing with willy and Gus in Willy's shop but that's it

If you go into Willy's shop, is there a door? Can you walk through that door?

No there isn't a door at the back of the shop

It sounds like you may still be on the 1.4 version of the game. If you purchased the game through the Play Store, make sure you update the game from there (the update will work with your current saves). If you purchased the game through the Amazon or Samsung Galaxy stores, the 1.5 update isn't available quite yet, but it will be soon!

I've updated and got a community bulletin board cut seen just waiting for enough time to pass. There is a door now in the back of Willy's shop
