Middlewalk does contain artwork, as pictures capture ideas that words cannot. I do not know if it is possible, but if you can fit a copy of your "Fairy Ring original" in between chapter's 11 and 12, I would be honored to see it there. Future readers (if any, Ha Ha) could then enjoy seeing your artwork in its proper context. Many of your beaked wonders come complete with eyebrows, and I could imagine one last picture to your set - one in which Mrs. Cluck is giving Hopper a death glare to remember this day for-ev-er.
@Dr. eeL okay I did what I could. I don't think (ha) I can put it between 11 and 12 at least not with my limited knowledge at this point. It is at the end of the same thread as 11 and 12. If you know of a way I can do it... please be free to letting me know.

My computer knowledge is also limited. But luckily, Middlewalk chapter 82 was all about Hoppy, so your artwork fit in quite nicely.

Thrice during a freshly minted millennium have I toiled in vain to produce even the scarcest semblance of a recognizable image, to each of which the gods necessarily responded with violent scourges upon humanity as a whole.
Did you inadvertently create Cthulhu??
Nah, I'm totally neither that good nor tentacly-inclined.

Scourges:
1) authoritarianism
2) pollen
3) empty carbs

I campaigned for insect flour for #3 but unfortunately they noticed the protein content...

Gravity. She is a harsh mistress, much like dental bills.

I'm of the opinion, that even the tried creation of "not so artworky art" is still art no matter how it angers the gods. And I think you probably don't give yourself enough credit but I could never know. Having not seen any of what you have tried to create.
And furthermore I'm always making a fool of myself with words on here. *Serial killer face* also probably with my art too.
Ah, but the act of creation is the art itself and I haven't tried in rather a long while. And truth be told, until I tire of writing junk I don't feel that putting the time in to drawing or painting, virtually or IRL, will be worth the results.

This is also known as "an excuse" or "procrastination" 😃

I may never catch up.
Based on those "Wonderful" Like hearts, I see that you have read 20 chapters. If you read 2-3 a week, you'll gain ground. It would be my wish that you enjoy chapters 20-40 even more than the first ones. I don't know, but I think that only faithful Boo1972 has read the whole story.

Call it the workings of a lonely mind. -This is a quote from a Fraggle Rock episode S2 E4
fun fact the line originates with a slightly odd Fraggle named Marlon.

I knew I recognized Marlon from somewhere!

LOL@ go to bed!

And knees are totally overrated.

My first impression was a bag of bocce balls but then my mind is diseased in ways specific to me, you git yer own diseases! And ah, it took me a while to realize that (Haley - hair curls) wasn't holding a giant Valentines Day chocolates box with bow draping below whilst wearing... well, something smaller than said box. I see the top now.

Actually the number of wrong things I see in your various avatar pictures is great daily entertainment, even the cat photo from yesterday (I saw a crow perching and had to expand the picture before seeing the cat). This extends to almost every image I see here and many IRL. I seem to have an overactive pattern detection thingy working in my head and it's kinda broken. It also extends to sounds, too where I hear things in songs like door knocks or police sirens where there are none.

Or maybe I'm just scared of being pulled over while singing Boston tunes in the car at the top of my lungs...

Mayhaps a superpower?

They are a little bit little for tether balls. I guess I was trying to avoid saying P.E. ball bag but I just did:laugh:

"Do you know why I pulled you over?"
"Um, because I was singing Boston?"
"Yes, please hand me you license and registration."

Um, I kinda do see it that way. And honestly this may be linked to the way I write as those weird associations seem to manifest themselves in similar ways when writing.

Heh.

Well...

Actually this is rather grounded in reality as I do believe the last speeding ticket I got (super many years ago, totally wouldn't happen today...) pretty much happened exactly that way, though without me offering the actual reasons for said wastage of finite resources. I'm not actually sure it's the same song but I do hear those sirens in a few songs (one Boston one in particular) where I'll just not play those in the car anymore. Not worth the tricks Ms. Brain plays on me!

Funny, I saw the same image as Ms. Lew, especially with that expression on her face.

And I don't see what yous are seeing🧐
OK, here goes:

Gravity.

...

Ok okok, I guess some detail. I have respect for gravity (press F) and have a thing about clothing that seems to disrespect gravity. Now, that Coconut top seems to be doing its job fine but it's doing it without the antigravitational effects which are the sole reason for straps to exist (though now I kinda see a faint strap in there - maybe erased?).

I find strapless outfits just kinda weird, like there's a piece missing, so I guess when I see a drawing without straps I seem to fill in something else there. And this time Ms. Brain replaced Coconut top with a great big box o' Valentine's candy being hugged by our model, with the bottom bit below the hands being a wide piece of ribbon from a big bow hidden by the clasped hands.

I think those of us who walk around with a head canon about everything might just have a mangled view of the world.

Part of my problem is that I've given Haley so many boxes of chocolates gifts that every time I see her, I think chocolates wow!
