Family visits

If you marry anyone whose family is not in town should be at the wedding.

I think it would be cool if family from out of town would visit the NPCs. Or my parents could visit me.Parents, cousins, grandparents, siblings. "See how you're doing " visits. They give you something nice if you're doing well or money if you're not.
Maybe you could make your whole family at the start or your parents are a combination of traits you pick for your farmer.

Dr. Harvy could leave to visit his elderly parents, Elliot could have siblings. Elliot mentioned his family back home didn't believe he could be a published author. Someone could rush to him, to mooch and suck up.

So many possibilities.

A great idea! If Zuzu City is added and expanded upon, it's even conceivable that you could actually go see relatives (yours or the townspeoples' [in-laws!]) in the city, maybe as more NPCs.

Speaking of Sandy, how did her and Emily become friends? I imagine Sandy's into gems and crystals and New Age stuff like Emily is. They say they're friends but they never hang out.
